Noha Seoudi
Following her graduation with an honours degree in dentistry and achieving a Master’s Degree in Oral Medicine from Cairo University, Egypt, she completed a period of general dental training and became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Later on, she was awarded one of the very few academic training posts in Clinical Oral Microbiology in the UK and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists by examination. Her PhD thesis focused on the interrelationship between oral microbiome and host immune response in patients with Behçet’s Disease. For the academic merit of this work, she was awarded the Young Investigator Award in the International Conference on Behçet’s Disease, Japan, 2012. Dr Seoudi is one of only eight Clinical Oral Microbiologists in the UK. She has clinical, research and teaching responsibilities. Her main clinical areas of interest are: clinical oral microbiology, infection and immunity in relation to oral health, antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention and control. She considers teaching one of the most rewarding experiences in her career. She enjoys teaching a wide range of students from different cultural backgrounds and different learning needs and thrives in the challenge of tailoring her teaching style to benefit all students. She is a member in the dental subgroup of the English Surveillance Programme for Antimicrobial Utilisation and Resistance (ESPAUR). She is also a reviewer for many international journals including the Journal of Hospital Infection and the International Journal of Antimicrobial Agents.

Aakshay Gulati
BDS, FDSRCS (Eng), MBBS, MRCS, FRCS (OMFS). Visiting Professor Aakshay Gulati is qualified in both medicine and dentistry and has successfully obtained his Fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in London. He has a specialist interest in head and neck surgery and microvascular reconstruction and has contributed to a number of publications ranging from Head and Neck Cancer Research to Litigation in National Health Service Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Gulati has completed a head and neck sub-specialty fellowship in an internationally acclaimed centre in Munich and was subsequently also selected for the highly coveted national interface head and neck fellowships. He also holds positions with European Association of Cranio-Maxillo-Facial Surgery (EACMFS) as an Executive Officer and as a Specialty Tutor in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Queen Victoria Hospital. He is currently the Head of Oral Surgery at The College of Medicine and Dentistry.

Adam Nulty
Dr Adam has become a highly experience and motivated clinician by increasing his knowledge and experience in postgraduate education for many years. He has a special interest in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry and Implantology. He qualified from The University Of Leeds in 2006 and spent several years in general practice with his father before opening the Dentist On THE ROCK clinic, which has been set up with the latest in Dental Imaging technologies. His postgraduate studies saw him traverse the United Kingdom and Europe over several years. In 2013 he completed an Master of Science degree in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry from the University Of Manchester, achieving a Distinction at the head of his class. Dr Adam has been on advanced implant courses with the ITI, Straumann, Planmecca and others to be able to provide implants on a referral basis and now teaches other dentists to restore the implants that he places. In addition to teaching nearby dentists to advance their careers by placing restorations on implants, Dr Adam helps to tutor on the Restorative and Aesthetics Masters programme that he himself completed in 2013. Dr Adam Nulty has been shortlisted, Finalist and been Winner of several industry awards, from Best Young Dentist 2013,2014 & 2015 to Best Dental Team and Best Oral Health Promoter 2014 &2015. The most prestigious of these have been both local and nationwide. In 2014 Dr Adam won the Made In Bury 2014 Best Health & Beauty Provider for the Bury and Bolton areas and in 2015 he won two catagories in the Aesthetic Dental Awards for Removable Orthodontic Appliance and for a Patient Choice Facial Aesthetics Case.

Parmjit Singh
Professor Parmjit Singh. After qualifying as a dentist from the University of Newcastle in 2001, Parmjit specialised in orthodontics. He is trained to consultant level, the highest level for a UK orthodontist and has worked at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London and Ipswich Hospital as a locum consultant. He is a senior clinical lecturer in orthodontics at BPP University where he is programme lead for the Master’s in Clinical Dentistry for Orthodontics. He is also the orthodontic lead for the Diploma in Orthodontics that is delivered at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration in Accra, Ghana in collaboration with the City of London Dental School. Parmjit is a member of the British Orthodontic Society. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is an examiner for the Royal College of Surgeon’s Licence in Dental Surgery (LDS), the Royal College of Surgeon’s Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy and also examines for the National Examining Board for Dental Nurses where he sits on the orthodontic committee. In addition to these roles, he is a clinical adviser at the General Dental Council as an expert witness. He spends his time between London and Spain and enjoy cycling and DIY in his spare time. He is learning to speak Spanish and dreams of one day having a pilot’s license!

Curd Bollen
Professor Curd Bollen. DDS, PhD, MSc, MclinDent Associate Professor Bollen is a world-renowned expert in Dental Implants and has gone on to publish 35 articles in international dental journals and was co-author of 8 books/chapters in academic books. He is editor in chief of the Journal of Dental Health, Oral Disorders & Therapy and has an extensive international experience working in academic institutions. Professor Bollen has been leading a clinic in the Netherlands, actively performing clinical work in periodontology, implantology and halitosis. Since 2018 he is scientific board member of the European Society for Ceramic Implantology (ESCI). He recently joined the College of Medicine & Dentistry, Birmingham as an Associate Clinical Professor.
