Dr Colin Campbell
Colin qualified from the University of Glasgow with a bachelor of dental surgery with commendation in 1994. Following this he entered employment at Glasgow dental hospital and school as a senior house officer in oral surgery, oral medicine and periodontology.
In 1995 Colin sat his primary FDS examination and sat his second part to gain the full qualification in 1997 (one of the youngest people in the UK ever to do so) In 1999, at the age of 27, Colin was admitted to the specialist list in surgical dentistry which later became the specialist list in oral surgery.
Colin began using CBCT and 3-dimensional imaging in 2004 in conjunction with a local large teaching hospital radiography unit. In 2009 he purchased a practice based CBCT system and since then has carried out and reported hundreds of CBCTs. He provides CBCTs on a referral basis for his own patients and also for the local teaching hospital maxillofacial unit.
