Michael Knackmuss

Michael Knackmuss, a German certified dental technician has been working as an international instructor with CAMLOG for 9 years. He left Germany and moved 1986 to Los Angeles, USA to work with Renzo Casellini at Swiss Quality Dental Laboratory, where at that time already approximately 800 implants per year (e.g. Nobel Brånemark, IMZ, Calzitek) were restored.

He relocated in autumn 1989 to Basel, Switzerland, started to work at Atelier für Zahntechnische Implantologie, a dental lab who’s owner D. Strub was the first European CIT (certified implant technician graduated from Harvard University). He specialized on fixed restorations, mainly on Nobel Brånemark, Straumann, Friadent and HaTi implants until summer 2001.

At the beginning of September 2001 he switched to the dental industry, as an international instructor at headquarters of a major implant company. The years of lab experience were certainly an asset to teach company employees, dental technicians and new customers in the clinical and lab application of the system. In November 2005 he went to France as head of education of the French subsidiary for the same implant manufacturer.

In March 2008 he joined the CAMLOG International Education Team, today he is a Senior International Instructor and a Senior Education Advisor of the OR Foundation trying to contribute with his knowledge and education dedication a little bit to the on going worldwide CAMLOG success story.
